Roy carried his Browning Automatic Rifle storming the beaches of Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Saipan and Tinian in the Pacific Theatre of WWII. He was awarded the Purple Heart. After the WWII, he became an Air Force fighter pilot during the Korean War, a prospector, treasure hunter, a teacher, the holder of a doctorate of archeology, a technical consultant for aircraft manufacturers. He was a man of many parts, proud of his membership in The Adventurers Club and attracted many new members. To learn more about this amazing adventurer, visit Roy Roush’s OTGA Page.

Please join us to honor this gentleman who touched the lives of so many. Active Duty and Veterans are encouraged to wear their uniforms in honor of Roy.
