As part of the Club’s initiative to promote more fellowship and activities with our membership, Rich Abele, #1172, (and a retired US Navy captain) is offering to conduct a group tour of the museum battleship USS IOWA (BB-61) on 31 May starting at 10AM. The ship is located at Berth 87, 250 S. Harbor Blvd, San Pedro. Parking via credit card only is available next to the ship. To enjoy the discounted group rate a minimum number of 10 participants is needed.
Payment will be collected on the ship. Credit card payment is preferred. Admission is $26.50 for ages 12 – 61 and $23.50 for seniors and military veterans; no children under 12, please.
Recommended footwear are closed-toe shoes, no flip flops or heels. Participants should be able to climb up and down 5 decks of stairs.
The tour will be led by Rich who is an experienced tour guide on this iconic warship – the “Battleship of Presidents”.
