Kate Cooper-Jensen is a globally recognized skydiver with an impressive record of over 14,000 jumps and 20 world records in formation skydiving, a discipline that involves building formations in freefall. Her passion for skydiving ignited in 1978 when she took her first leap at the age of 17. She quickly became deeply involved in the sport, dedicating countless hours to perfecting her skills and pushing the boundaries of what was possible in the air.

Throughout her illustrious career, Kate has competed at the highest levels of the sport, participating in prestigious events such as the World Cup and World Championship of Skydiving. Her exceptional talent and unwavering determination led her to achieve numerous accolades, including being the only female skydiver to participate in all the “even number” FS World Records – 100, 200, 300, and 400, a testament to her remarkable skill and perseverance.

Beyond her athletic achievements, Kate has also been a driving force for positive change in the skydiving community and beyond. In 1997, she co-founded Jump for the Cause, a charitable organization that has raised nearly $3 million for breast cancer research. Her philanthropic endeavors demonstrate her commitment to using her platform to make a difference in the lives of others.

In recognition of her extraordinary contributions to the sport of skydiving and her unwavering dedication to excellence, Kate was inducted into the USPA Skydiving Hall of Fame in 2019. This prestigious honor solidified her legacy as one of the most influential and inspiring figures in the history of skydiving.
