An expedition into the virgin woods of Gabon should have happened when Pierre was 21.
For Pierre it was the risk he had to take to reach them and the only way he could be with the last remaining Pygmies
hiding in seclusion in the deep forest.
Not much information was available before he left Los Angeles and even with no Visa he took a chance that he could visit Gabon.
It turned out that it could not have been any better.
Pierre and his guide decided to just wing it and let things happen and they did.
Being initiated into a tribe (non Pygmy), visiting Dr. Albert Schweitzer Hospital, and finding this
remote Pygmy tribe made all the risk more than worth wile.
Returning with hundreds of stories and feelings about that country,
inspires Pierre to deal with the today of his world in a more positive view.
